RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Operate forklift in compliance with forklift training and safety guidelines. * Load/unload/store building materials from trailers or rail cars while minimizing damage. * Store and retrieve material (piece pick and/or bulk) * Prepare the paperwork required for distribution and shipping of products. * Performs daily inspection and maintenance of equipment. * Maintains cleanliness and tidiness in working and assigned area. * Assists in periodic inventory counts as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* One year or recent forklift/warehouse experience * Ability to proficiently and safely use forklift to transport product, load/unload trucks * Ability to understand and follow directions * Ability to work independently, at times under pressure * Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. * Ability to read/comprehend sales order, purchase orders, safety material, etc. * Detail oriented and organized, basic math skills * Safe work record and stable work history
