Noblis is seeking a Quality Assurance/Control (QA/QC) Engineer to support a client program that will work with our clients to design, create, deploy, migrate and maintain digital solutions that span national security missions some of which include identity management, multimedia, and cyber end-to-end systems. The work our teams do day-to-day is transforming the way law enforcement and intelligence communities handle, process, analyze, visualize, and translate information into actionable intelligence.

Responsibilities:
  • Works with stakeholders and end users to elicit, understand, analyze, and document feature requirements
  • Collaborate with the development team to test new features and ensure common understanding of requirements/user stories
  • Write comprehensive acceptance criteria for requirements/user stories
  • Design, implement, execute, and assess software quality through manual and automated test cases to ensure product quality
  • Create, update, and execute interactive tests and create associated reports
  • Troubleshoot, reproduce, and log defects as needed
  • Maintain the system test plan and other related documentation
  • Perform Static Code Analysis (SCA) and analyze results to contribute towards better code quality
  • Prepare test metrics and present results in the Retrospective ceremony
  • Contribute to the decomposition and flow of tickets in an agile project management system
  • Working with end users to resolve issues and document user feedback/improvements
Required Qualifications

Required:
  • Experience - multiple levels can be accommodated
    • BS Degree + 3 years work experience or AA Degree + 6 years experience or MS Degree + 1 year work experience
  • Experience eliciting and documenting client requirements and writing comprehensive acceptance criteria and test scripts
  • Experience working with operational users to re-create, document, and resolve end user issues and questions
  • Working knowledge of the following Atlassian products: Jira/Zephyr, Jira Align, and Confluence
  • Working knowledge of current software testing methodologies
  • Working knowledge of Agile software development frameworks (Scrum and SAFe)
  • Working knowledge of Sonarqube and Gitlab
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Possess a sense of ownership and professional pride
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • Work on-site at Noblis or client office minimum 2 days/week

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis' total compensation package for employees.
