Prepare reporting schedules for quarter and year end supplemental reporting to the financial statements. Drive process improvements and automation efforts to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Assist as the accounting liaison for US reinsurance communications with Reinsurance Operations counterparts in the organization. Assist with internal and external audit requests. Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley internal control requirements. Job requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from a four-year college or university. Clear knowledge and proven abilities in Reinsurance account processing and a minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably reinsurance accounting in a property/casualty insurance environment. Ability to accurately research and follow through on complex problem-solving items, as well as initiate resolutions at multiple levels within the organization. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage, prioritize and effectively meet deadlines for multiple assignments simultaneously. Strong teamwork skills and display professional demeanor encompassing company’s vision and values. Remain flexible in a fast-paced environment and possess a customer focused attitude. Proficient PC skills, particularly in Excel, Access and Word. Skills in accounting and reinsurance software preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
