Overview:
A major casino in Las Vegas is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer looking to transition into a security-focused role. This position is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned systems engineer with experience in Active Directory and configurations to gain exposure to security engineering within a dynamic and prestigious organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Active Directory Domain Configurations: Configure and manage Active Directory domains for a newly built forest and our new domain for UAE.
  • Server Setup: Install, configure, and maintain servers in a Windows and Microsoft environment.
  • UNIX Front-End Configurations: Perform basic front-end configurations in UNIX.
  • Certificate Management: Manage and maintain security certificates.
  • Group Setup: Set up and manage user and security groups.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with application groups and access teams to bring systems online and ensure smooth integration.
  • Project Support: Support projects related to the rollout/restructure of CyberArk, Sectigo, Cribl, and Splunk.

Requirements:
  • Systems Engineering Experience: Proven experience in systems engineering, particularly in on-premise environments.
  • Active Directory Expertise: Hands-on experience with Active Directory domain configurations and setups.
  • Windows and Microsoft Environment: Proficient in Windows and Microsoft server setups and configurations.
  • Basic UNIX Knowledge: Understanding of front-end configurations in a UNIX environment.
  • Certificate Management: Familiarity with managing security certificates.
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with various teams, including application groups and access teams.
  • Security Ambition: Interest in transitioning into a security engineering role, with a willingness to learn and grow in this area.
