Job Summary The right candidate should be highly organized and detail-oriented, able to complete a high volume of tasks with minimal guidance or supervision, and comfortable working effectively and diplomatically in a fast-paced environment with changing workloads and priorities while maintaining a high level of integrity and discretion in managing confidential information. Assistant Duties Manage outgoing or incoming correspondence, including e-mail, letters, packages, etc. Coordinate material prep for study meetings. Manage relationships with office representatives. Strong Google Workspace and Microsoft Office skills - Mail, Calendar, Docs, and Sheets. Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Well-honed planning, time management, and organizational skills with a high attention to detail. Meeting Coordination: Organize and prepare for meetings, including drafting agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items. Project Management: Assist with special projects, research, and analysis as needed to support the strategic goals of the organization. Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and confidentiality. Office Management: Oversee office logistics, supplies, and equipment to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment. Medical Assistant Duties Escort patients to exam rooms in order of appointment times. Obtain short history and vital signs as required by the patient’s chief complaint. Update medication list if necessary. Set up exam room according to scheduled procedure or anticipate physician's needs if a non-scheduled procedure is likely. Assist physician with biopsies and surgical procedures such as excisions, ED&C, Cryo therapy, and laser surgery. Educate patients as required after the physician establishes the treatment plan. Perform nursing procedures such as suture removal, dressing changes, allergen patch testing, and chemical wart therapy without direct physician supervision. Qualifications Certification as a Medical Assistant required. Strong Google Workspace and Microsoft Office skills - Mail, Calendar, Docs, and Sheets. Solid experience with calendar management, travel coordination, expense reports, maintaining schedules, and managing special projects. Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Professional work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude. Well-honed planning, time management, and organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
