Opportunity Snapshot:

  • Compensation: $70K/year
  • Location: Deer Park, TX
  • Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+
  • Assignment Duration: Direct hire

Responsibilities:
  • Providing work procedures & instructions that ensure safe and efficient execution of all tasks, including safe work permits, and lock out tag out procedures
  • Develop and implement foundational and primary process to ensure safe reliable and efficient production
  • Develop long term and short-term TIP (Tactical Improvement Plan) for production department and integrate into the year Site TIP, including department development & recruitment, productivity, quality, efficiency and HSE improvement
  • Ensure adherence to all site procedures, work instructions and other regulations and guidelines. Walk the talk
  • Adherence to production budget and realize yearly improvement. Adherence to production planning, BOM and realize yearly improvement
  • Process owner of performance management in production: plan, review and actions
  • Adherence to budget and to production schedule
  • Ensure availability and use of MACs, driving reduction of gap between MAC and actuals
  • Execution of the primary work processes and the foundations (performance mgt, 5S, SWS) in production; review by Process Confirmation
Qualifications:
  • A bachelors degree (B.S.) in chemical engineering
  • 7+ years experience in production, maintenance, quality, direct leadership role in chemical manufacturing
  • Lean Six Sigma Green belt or comparable process improvement, problem solving abilities
  • Hardworking, action-oriented, and results driven
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite. Intermediate/Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
