Technical Support Representative

We are actively hiring a Technical Support Representative V to join our Mission Technology Division working in McLean, VA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Provides technical support and customer service to the organization's users of computer applications and hardware (e.g., PCs, servers, mainframes)
+ Answers questions regarding system procedures, online transactions, systems status and downtime procedures and is typically located within a call center
+ Collaborates with network services, software systems engineering and/or application development in order to restore service and/or identify problems
+ Maintains a troubleshooting tracking log ensuring timely resolution of problems
+ Works within established precedents and practices
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
+ Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
+ Requires comprehensive understanding of processes, procedures, and systems within own and related areas
+ Analyses information to solve on-going problems
+ Requires developed advanced specialized expertise within an analytical or technical area to perform the most complex work
+ Uses knowledge of how the team integrates with other teams to coordinate efforts and resources to achieve shared and individual objectives
+ Experience providing leadership to a team including coaching on performance, coordinating activities, and checking on quality and work progress
+ Uses experience to identify and solve day-to-day problems
+ Impacts the overall quality and quantity of the tasks performed by the team
+ Requires tact and diplomacy to communicate ideas in a concise and logical way
