Qualifications

Objective: To provide customer service for walk-in and over the phone customers. This position requires a high level of product knowledge and excellent customer service skills. An inside salesperson should be able to uncover a customer's needs and sell products that satisfy those requirements.

Reports To: Store manager

Specific Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Must be able to state all terms & conditions of a sale.
2. Must possess good problem solving skills
3. Must be able to use reference manuals to research and answer customer questions.
4. Appearance should be neat and clean with uniforms worn per company policy.
5. Must possess good communication skills
6. Must work in coordination with management, outside sales, dispatch, purchasing
and yard personnel.
7. Must be able to follow through with all commitments involving customers.
8. Must act as part of a team to promote an atmosphere that is conducive to a
profitable and efficient work environment.
9. Closing Store (including Balancing Cash Drawer)
10. Good Selling skills for "add-on" sales
11. Good Selling skills for "up-grade" sales
12. Excellent knowledge in the use of all point of sale computer programs
13. The ability to take orders accurately for delivery and schedule with dispatch.
14. Basic geometry and math skills.
15. Process orders (including special orders) per company policy
16. Should be familiar with all polices and procedures in the company manual.
17. Perform "add-on" and "up-grade" sales techniques.
18. Bilingual in Spanish, preferred

Hourly Range: the hourly rate for this role is $24.00 to 27.00 per hour. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate's compensation, we consider a number of factors, including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
