As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will play a critical role in managing the flow of materials and components through our warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory counts in the ERP system, and coordinating with various departments to maintain efficient production schedules and timely shipments. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Receive incoming material/components. Store and maintain warehouse for material/components. Create jobs/work orders in ERP system. Plan and prepare production schedules for manufacture of all production parts. Kit material/components for production. Includes issuing stock, receiving/closing shop orders in ERP system. Work with production departments, quality and purchasing to establish priorities as needed. Maintain accurate inventory counts in ERP system. Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Communicate with managers, department supervisors, and lead personnel to ensure schedules are met. Prepare product/finished goods for shipment to outside operations and/or customers as necessary. Perform cycle counts for raw material, work in process, and finished good. Investigate root cause and make inventory adjustments as needed. Evaluate inventory for aging and/or deterioration. Assist with continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives. Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Position Requirements: High School diploma required, associate degree or some college, a plus. Previous inventory/production control experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Purchasing experience helpful, but not required. A thorough understanding of ERP system, BoM structure & costing structure within the framework of UPG systems. (ERP System is Great Plains) Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner Proficient in MS office, including Excel.
