**Job Title: Precision Parts Inspector**

**Job Description**

Hiring for a Precision Parts Inspector to support the machined parts department. This is a highly detail-oriented position where shop math, documentation, and machine shop knowledge is needed.

Shift: Monday - Friday 2:15pm - 10:45pm (includes 10% shift differential)

Responsibilities:

- Follow all document measurement procedures.

- Work alongside the Manufacturing Managers to ensure compliance with equipment calibration system requirements.

- Use precision measurement tools like micrometers, height gauges, optical gauges, and others for inspections.

- Inspect parts with reference to blueprints and work orders by applying knowledge of machining, shop math, and statistics as needed.

- Documentation of findings with internal customers and corrective action plans.

- Maintain accurate records and inventory of tools.

**Hard Skills**

+ blueprint reading

+ use of precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.

+ inspection of manufactured parts, ideally from a machine shop but other applicable experience with parts inspection may be accepted

+ ability to perform shop math for measuring and calculating dimensions

+ ability to read work order documents and document if parts meet compliance

This is a fully on-site position in Hillsboro, Oregon.
