Job Title: Certified Weld Inspector

As a Certified Weld Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of welded components and materials. This role requires a high degree of expertise in welding inspection and a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform part and weld inspection, both in and out of cleanroom environment
  • Perform basic non-destructive examination of welds
  • Manage welder qualifications, PQRs and other weld related documentation
  • Thoroughly document inspection results and state of product compliance
  • Inspect raw material and finished parts to drawings and applicable standards using precision measuring tools, gauges, and other required tooling
  • Document non-conformances and assist with root cause, corrective and preventative action development and implementation as necessary
  • Provide mentorship and support to team members in and out of the quality department
  • Perform reviews of new business to assess state of compliance and feasibility
  • Support preparing operations for newly identified compliance requirements


Requirements:
  • AWS Certified Welding Inspector (Current)
  • 2 years of Quality Control and/or Assurance within manufacturing, fabrication, or applicable field required (4 preferred)
