Business Analyst

Key Role:

Elicit, analyze, document, and validate the business needs of stakeholders, from customers to end users. Collaborate with stakeholders to determine project scope and vision. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance, and review or guide activities of more junior employees. Focus on solutions identification, risk analysis, and collaboration with IT teams. Work on providing highly innovative solution identification of complex problems.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a business analyst

  • Experience translating customer vision into user stories

  • Experience working in a highly collaborative environment, proactively across teams and with program stakeholders

  • Experience presenting solutions to senior leaders

  • Experience with Agile methodology

  • Experience with user experience concepts

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience analyzing and verifying requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards

  • Knowledge of Pega

  • Ability to manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle

  • Ability to communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements verbally or through written documentation to project managers, product owners, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
