Brand/Category/ Customer/ Channel Management - Provides sound and timely decision support to McCormick leadership at different ad hoc levels when needed (customer and product profitability, new business opportunities, pricing, trade terms etc.) – Developing, managing, analyzing and communicating complex financial models for business team P&L’s, new product launches, promotional programs, pricing actions and ad-hoc projects. Investments and Business Case Evaluations - Evaluates key investment opportunities to assess the financial and commercial viability, ensuring an adequate level of sensitivity/risk analysis is completed prior to making recommendations to senior management on resulting findings. Team Management - Provides formal or informal leadership to other finance team members, helping to develop the finance team to provide effective and value-added support to the business. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field required. MBA preferred. Significant experience in business unit finance support, financial planning and analysis. Typical number of years for this level of position is 5+ years. SAP/BW/TM1 experience desirable. Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, Power Point and Word required. Proven communication (both written and verbal) and diplomacy skills required to synthesize and present complex and sensitive information. Proven ability to analyze detailed information and solve problems based on judgments from practice and previous experience, technical knowledge and reasonable assumptions, producing fact-based insights and recommendations. Ability to take initiative and work independently. Demonstrated ability to communicate with and influence stakeholders – both within business and Finance. Proven experience in being able to build and manage trusted relationships with senior finance stakeholders. Proven ability to think strategically, challenging stakeholders and influencing decision making. Demonstrated ability of being a dynamic self-starter, to work independently and apply sound judgment to solve complex problems with incomplete and/or ambiguous information required and to proactively initiate action steps required. Teamwork – effectively work across business functions. Strong technical Finance understanding and business acumen. Innovative – develops new solutions to solve business problems and obstacles. Proven ability to interpret data, order and assess its value and present the findings to the relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise way, solve complex problems quickly and with limited facts.
