The Financial Analyst plays a crucial role within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) division, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of FP&A. This position is essential for supporting various functional departments across the organization and its subsidiaries. The Analyst will take charge of coordinating, establishing, and overseeing annual departmental overhead budgets and workforce forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the Month-End and Quarterly Close processes by evaluating and consolidating financial data from multiple entities.
  • Contribute to the creation of reporting packages for Monthly Business Reviews and Quarterly Closing discussions.
  • Support the development of the Long Range Plan and Annual Operating Plan.
  • Conduct analysis comparing monthly actuals and forecasted financial performance against budget, prior month, and previous year results.
  • Maintain various monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements in compliance with internal controls and regulations.
  • Assist with additional ad-hoc assignments to support the FP&A team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel for financial analysis.
  • Passion for working with numbers and spreadsheets.
  • Eligibility to obtain Security Clearance.
