POSITION SUMMARY

This role serves as the primary financial partner for complex Indirect customers within the Geography Sales Team. The selected candidate will provide insights on profitability, financial metrics, expenditure control, and the establishment and monitoring of internal controls. Additionally, this position will support the development of reporting automation for ongoing initiatives and deliver analytics to the Sales Field to drive sales growth and manage trade expenditures effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and document robust controls for the trade spending process, including monitoring TPM forecast accruals and planned expenditures for all customers in designated Sales Regions.
  • Employ critical thinking skills to inform decision-making, drawing from professional experience, market knowledge, data, and intuition.
  • Analyze customer-specific requests from the Sales Field, collaborating to create financial P&Ls, analytics, scenarios, and ROI metrics to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Provide monthly analysis comparing TM1 to TPM Unit/Gross Sales Forecast and TPM Checkbook.
  • Offer insights and guidance in the formulation of customer contracts, pricing, and deal structures for proposed opportunities from the Sales Field.
  • Engage in projects assessing trade spend effectiveness through return-on-investment analysis and incremental lift associated with promotions, providing recommendations for enhancing future performance.
  • Assist with baseline updates for key customers.
  • Utilize systems to enhance analytics and processes, driving data-driven insights.
  • Complete ad-hoc projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting, Financial analysis, or a related business function.
  • Proven knowledge of transaction and reporting systems, including SAP, Business Warehouse, TM1, or other local systems.
  • Strong understanding of reporting capabilities and the ability to organize data to enhance analysis.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and cultures.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work under pressure, and prioritize effectively.
