About the Role
The Vice President of Human Resources at the company is a key leadership role with a primary focus on overseeing all aspects of the HR function. This includes but is not limited to, compensation, employee benefits, recruitment, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with all employment laws. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of HR department goals and objectives, providing leadership and support to the HR team, and partnering with senior leadership on various HR matters. The role also involves designing and interpreting HR policies, analyzing departmental reports, and making recommendations for continual improvement. As a change agent and employee advocate, the VP of HR will be instrumental in upholding the company's values and culture.To stand out in this position, candidates should have a minimum of 7-10 years' of HR experience in a company with 250 or more employees, with at least 5 years' in a leadership role. A demonstrated servant leadership mentality, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of the organization are essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of HR information systems, strategic planning, and problem-solving methods, as well as experience in the technical aspects of HR management. Certification such as SHRM CP, PHR, or SPHR is preferred.
