Purchasing Coordinator

Duties:

-Reviewing and tracking purchase orders, product levels, and allocations

-Daily management and updating of spreadsheets and system notifications

-Follow up activities such as supplier acknowledgment of PO, updating order shipping, and expected receipt dates

-Contact suppliers on open items that have aged past expected dates

-Assist the location managers and accounts payable team with closing the PO for payment

-Other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

-High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree is a plus

-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to maintain these under occasional deadline pressure

-Very good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office (Suite) programs (formulas & formatting)

-Excellent time management, written, professional verbal communication skills

-Strong customer service skills

-Team player with excellent work ethic

-Good knowledge of Agility software is a plus

-Able to a pass pre-employment drug test
