Your new role As our new Structural Project Engineer, you will be part of our energetic and driven group of structural engineers and architects based out of Arlington, VA This is a position for a person who has passed the FE exam and plans to pursue Professional Engineering licensure within two years. The Project Engineer utilizes highly developed verbal and written communication skills to maintain a close relationship with project team members and clients from proposal through construction phase. . Your key responsibilities will be: Completing assignments requiring a knowledge of engineering fundamentals and the application of these fundamentals to the production of engineering deliverables. Executing a variety of engineering tasks including preparation of reports, investigatory studies, engineering design calculations and preparation of Contract Documents Maintaining routine communications with the project team members during proposal, design and construction phases of a project Reviewing schedules and budgets of projects under their supervision Preparing proposals and conducts efforts supporting business development activities Performing detailed checking of completed work performed under their direct supervision Visiting job sites to review work in progress, gain field experience, and advance practical engineering skills.
