JOB SUMMARY / DESCRIPTIONThe ECRS Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for the effective marketing and championing of ECRS' product suite, including marketing planning, coordination, creation, editing, design, and strategy. This role works closely with multiple ECRS departments including Hardware Management, Technical Support, Sales, and Development teams to compile and create critical product information content and ensure that our employees and customers are knowledgeable of ECRS' product offerings. This role is critical in connecting our strategy to the tactics that drive successful adoption and retention of ECRS' products. The ECRS Product Marketing Specialist acts as a product evangelist, striving to make a big impact in achieving our company goals by playing an integral part of organizing product launches and executing ongoing product marketing campaigns that drive demand of ECRS' product suite.RESPONSIBILITIESOversee the maintenance of the Product Vault, ensuring the accuracy of product information to enable ECRS sales teams to effectively sell ECRS products.Collaborate with all internal teams to carry out a communication strategy that promotes ECRS' products, services, education, and events including distributing weekly product bulletins internally.Assist product teams with conducting market research, identifying pain points, creating personas, and understanding the competitive landscape.Collaborate with product teams to identify a product's value proposition, positioning, and messaging by gaining a deep understanding of the target audience and the business challenges the product solves for them. This should be translated into statements that demonstrate the benefits and value of the product, effectively capturing the interest of the target audience.Assist with developing a pricing strategy in collaboration with the product teams and Managing Director of Marketing.Manage product release strategy, documentation, and training materials for new products and/or new software version releases. Including, but not limited to Webinars, Online training materials (video, written), Executive Overview Documentation, Internal and External Email Releases, Sales Decks, Product Detail Pages, and Internal Product Training to Customer Care and Direct Sales.Demonstrate effectiveness through increased product adoption within the existing customer base. Collaborate with ECRS Trade Show and Events Coordinator to ensure a consistent product marketing message at customer events or community outreach efforts. Increase product visibility via news releases, application notes, technical articles, conference presentations, webinars, and promotional activities. Provide input for literature, advertisements, and other marketing components.Create and disseminate marketing content, per communication strategies, including, but not limited to Product releases, Product promotions and campaigns, Educational Opportunities, Product awareness and adoption, Company News, and Trade Show and Event promotion. Work with ECRS internal teams to create and publish product dossiers and other resources as needed. Serve as an editor on published marketing content, ensuring accurate representation of all ECRS products.Perform other content-related duties as required.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree (or higher) in Marketing or Communications OR A minimum of two years' experience in a relevant field. Experience in planning and content creation; Ability to create high-quality promotional content, campaigns, and marketing strategy and execute with timeliness. Basic Photoshop and WordPress experience preferred but not required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills - this position has a heavy writing focus. Confidence in technological concepts and eagerness to learn and understand new technology. Ability to develop strategy-based communication campaigns. High quality professionalism in work and appearance. Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility to meet changing needs. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills - this role manages many products, working with many individuals. Must be assertive, but able to respectfully communicate needs. Proactive mindset and critical thinker.
