Agricultural Billing Specialist

About the Role: Landus is seeking an Agricultural Billing Specialist to join our team in Des Moines. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for the timely invoicing of agronomy products and services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Apply working knowledge of Landus credit, sales, and inventory policies.
• Monitor agronomy sales contracts/prepay and inventory.
• Assist Account Leads, Account Managers, Hub Lead, and Location Lead as needed.
• Timely invoicing of agronomy products and services for specified locations.
• Daily verification of sales invoices.
• Verification of all specified locations inventory and/or purchase orders.
• Perform and assist others in the reconciliation of agronomy inventories.
• Assist customers with billing/statement inquiries.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

Requirements:
• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous agricultural experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Computer Skills, Knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Ag Vance, and databases.
• Work with an open dialogue, an exchange of ideas, and the ability to accept direction and feedback positively.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year. This estimate is based on national averages for similar positions and takes into account the cost of living in Des Moines.
