The purpose of this role is to lead the planning and execution of Rayner’s growing event and program initiatives in the Americas. With approximately 30 total conferences and up to 50 regional meetings annually, many of which include symposia and associated events, Rayner’s wide reach necessitates a motivated and organized Associate capable of wide-ranging accountabilities. This role works closely with a growing local and international marketing team to achieve an ambitious growth strategy in both the surgical and pharmaceutical portfolio.
This role will include travel to conferences and meetings.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Coordinate and manage all aspects of event planning and execution, including logistics, vendor relationships, and onsite coordination at the national and regional level
Organize conference and meeting related activities such as promotional events and receptions
Advise on conference spending, sponsorship activities, budgeting strategy, and execution
Work with the marketing team to advise on and create new conference assets such as banners, tabletop displays, and booth designs
Perform timely budget management including expensing invoices, orders, and PO generation
Manage and grow our social media profiles and presence
Work with marketing to create compelling content for various channels, including social media and newsletters, and collaborate on select projects across the entire portfolio
Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gathering insights to optimize future initiatives.
Liaise with Regulatory, Legal, and Medical teams to ensure compliance at all levels
Ensure that speaker program deliverables are organized and scheduled, including invitations, presentations, and associated details
Liaise with Operations and the field to support account logistical processes
Essential
Event management and program planning experience
Marketing and/or communications experience
Strong planning and project management abilities with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work activities
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders including team members, senior management, field sales vendors, and clients
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Canva preferred
The ability to travel related to this role
