- Minimum 5 years full-time work experience in a fundraising, development or sales position that demonstrates successful donor and/or client cultivation. Should be familiar with the San Diego philanthropic community, Non-profit experience preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of leading a team at a senior leadership level (director/vice president)
- Bachelor's Degree preferred from any accredited university or college; work experience may be substituted.
- Very people-oriented and supports a positive faith-based working environment.
- Comfortable adapting to change and finding solutions.
- Excellent active listening, communication, and presentation skills.
- A high self-starter that sees duties and gets them done.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong follow-through and a focus on owning the outcome.
- Expert computer skills and ability in using Microsoft® operating systems, Microsoft Office®, and other database-type systems.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to exercise practical judgment, sensitivity, and creativity to changing needs and situations.
