Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Specialist - Talent Acquisition is to support the Talent Acquisition team in accomplishing the goals and objectives of the department, assisting with research and analysis, onboarding of new team members, completing projects as assigned and assisting Corporate Team Members with policy and procedure inquiries.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.'s policies, practices, and procedures. All Las Vegas Sands Corp. Team Members are expected to conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times. Team Members are required to observe the Company's standards, work requirements and rules of conduct.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with the overall Talent Acquisition workflow of the department including, scheduling, pre-employment process, onboarding, candidate inquiries and follow ups.
  • Ensure Corporate onboarding exceeds expectations.
  • Update presentations and reports based on input and feedback.
  • Assist with the creation and modification of department policies and procedures.
  • Complete thorough and accurate analysis of HR data requests/small projects related to compensation, HR policy research, benefits, relocation, etc.
  • Draft presentations based on outlines and high-level overviews with Management; ability to include insight and research relevant to our business.
  • Assists HR Management with any special needs/requests.
  • Provide information and prepare requests for disbursement and manage scheduling, as deemed necessary.
  • Assist with managing HR documentation.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new Team Members, Suppliers, and Contractors as necessary.
  • Assist with sourcing and pre-screening candidates for any current openings.
  • Perform job duties in a safe manner.
  • Attend work as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization to work in the United States
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or relevant field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of human resources experience at a professional level to include exposure to HR administration, recruiting, compensation, benefits administration and team member relations
  • Prior demonstrated work experience handling confidential and sensitive data as part of daily job routine
  • Superior attention to detail and commitment to extraordinary business partner relationships
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills, presentation skills and customer service skills
  • Previous professional interaction with all levels of an organization and with external contacts
  • Must be dependable, trustworthy and cordial to Team Members.
  • Able to prioritize and coordinate multiple daily tasks and work within tight deadlines.
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities. Excellent follow through.
  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to LVS appearance standards.
  • Maintain consistent adherence to the LVS Unmatched Guest Service Standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Team Members or other people of different backgrounds and levels of experience.

Must be able to:
  • Physically access assigned workspace areas with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, and dust.
