This individual will work across departments to build relationships to help tell the Mister story externally through all consumer touchpoints. This role will have direct responsibility for these key areas: Public Relations, Brand Communication, Community Engagement, Event Marketing, Social Strategy and Media Strategy. Corporate Communications and will work collaboratively with Finance, Risk, Investor Relations and HR. What you will do: Develops and implements strategic marketing and communications plans to advance brand identity; broaden awareness, and increase visibility with external audiences. Lead the team on communications strategy, message development, and press relations for the organization. Help shape and drive a single consistent Mister brand and approach to external communications. Collaborate with cross-functional team members on external-facing materials and events to ensure consistency with the company's approved messages and in line with our communication disclosure process. Leads the brand communication team in building strategic plans that increase the visibility and awareness of Mister through earned and owned media channels. Provide guidance and direction to outside PR agencies and internal team members. Liaise with HQ teams to lead crisis communication and management for the brand. Define workstreams, ownership and timelines. Collaborate with the leadership team to activate and operationalize workstreams as needed. Drive strategy for activating the brand through owned and earned channels, including building brand messaging, working with agency partners to execute implementation and reporting on insights in increased customer or stakeholder engagement. Manage corporate brand guidelines to ensure consistency and adherence with internal and external stakeholders. Work with Investor relations to develop talking points and ensure spokespeople are fully prepared and equipped with appropriate messaging and understanding of disclosure strategy. Oversee development of event presentations (i.e., Annual Meeting of Shareholders, Town Halls, Employee Awards), corporate videos and other visual communications materials; includes developing, gathering, designing, and developing editorial content, scripts, and video. Raise the profile of key executives by driving thought leadership content, press interviews, speaking opportunities, and other activities. Develop and execute a scalable community engagement plan that results in a measurably stronger consumer connection to our brand. Lead the companies ESG strategy by working cross-functionally with all departments to identify risk areas, company initiatives, measurement and reporting. Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned and directed. How you will shine: Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field. MBA preferred. 10+ years experience in brand management, marketing, or related roles, with a proven track record of driving brand growth. Demonstrated ability to create and implement successful brand strategies and campaigns. Exceptional storytelling skills with a deep understanding of different mediums and audiences. Strong media relations experience and established network of industry contacts. Mastery of oral and written English communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills, presentation skills, project management skills, and the ability to influence across the organization at multiple levels. Proficient knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Ability to speak/hear clearly in person and on the telephone as well as write effective emails. Ability to travel as business needs require, up to 50% of the time.
