Job DescriptionJob Description

Our client is a leading engineering firm focused on utility scale solar and BESS projects. As their backlog of projects continues to grow, they are looking to add a Sr Electrical Engineer to join their team focused on power flow analysis and system design.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will report to the Director of Electrical Engineering and is responsible for the design and production of Engineering documents for large DG and utility scale projects.

This position will play a crucial role in the engineering analysis using ETAP. In addition to serving as the ETAP subject matter expert, the Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing using AutoCAD, and the electrical project management of solar PV and battery energy storage systems (BESS), among other renewable energy projects. This position will be based remotely and may be based in any location within the United States (U.S.).

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (Master’s is preferred but not required)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure with experience reviewing and stamping plans as the engineer of record.
  • 3+ years of experience working with ETAP
  • 1+ year of experience using AutoCad for design work
  • 6+ years of work experience in solar PV engineering design with experience in power and SCADA systems

Salary Range: $120K - $160K
