About Us:

Utech Products is a leading distributor of laboratory supplies. We are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist for immediate full-time employment. As a dynamic sales organization, we need a skilled individual to manage our procurement process and handle a variety of office tasks, such as submitting solicitations.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. This role involves overseeing the procurement process and supporting various office functions to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the procurement process for laboratory supplies.

Process and track orders to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

Handle contracts and maintain supplier relationships.

Perform various office tasks to support operations

Other work as assigned

COMPETENCIES:

Proven experience in procurement or related field

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Good time management and project management skills.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills, oral, written, and in-person.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. In addition, when needed this job requires you to assist in the warehouse.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. While working in the warehouse the employee may be required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

POSITION TYPE/ EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Generally Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

TRAVEL:

No travel is expected for this position

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred

PAY:

$23.00-25.00/hour
