Key Job Responsibilities

Perform engineering evaluations, investigations, fundamental calculations and tests to resolve customer problems. Prepare cost estimates and specifications for new equipment proposals. Visit sites to observe feeding and crushing equipment in operation, review application parameters, recognize problems and recommend corrective action. Review, revise, and approve current engineering records related to feeders and feeder breakers before they are released to manufacturing for production. Create CAD models, bills of materials and manufacturing drawings for specialized feeders and feeder-breakers. Resolve deviation requests for drawing revisions to aid the manufacturing process. Develop specifications for initiating Customer Retrofit Improvement and Safety Program (CRISP) projects. Group leader for offshore design engineers and drafters for components, products, and/or services as well as continual improvements in engineering processes.

Qualifications/Requirements

Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2 years experience in performing engineering design and manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and modeling of heavy equipment; analysis and fundamental calculations, cost estimates for heavy equipment and materials Ability to draft manuals and/or specifications.

Additional Information

Full time, 40 hours a week. 10-25% travel to US customer sites, mines, processing plants, and construction sites to evaluate equipment.
