Job Overview: As a result of our company's growth, we are actively seeking experienced Distribution Engineers to join our Engineering team in Augusta and Portland, Maine. These Distribution Engineers will facilitate the interconnection of Distributed Generation (DG) projects in our service territory in the State of Maine. Responsibilities & Duties: Design electrical power distribution systems in overhead and underground utility facilities Design cable routes and develop physical layouts including height, spacing, and location parameters Determine electrical equipment needs and quantities for the development of new power systems Assist in ensuring the proper application of power delivery system reliability, design, and construction standards Provide engineering support to operations and maintenance of power distribution systems Work in compliance with company policies and procedures Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Power Systems is required. MSEE, MBA, or Project Management Certifications are greatly appreciated. Three (3) + years of distribution line design engineering experience within the electrical utilities industry - Power Generation distribution is highly preferred. Strong familiarity and professional experience with power distribution systems including system reliability, design, and construction standards. SAP knowledge preferred Three (3) + years of AutoCAD experience preferred Current US Work authorization is required. These positions require full-time on-site work in Augusta and Portland Maine starting within four to six (4-6) weeks. Possibly Hybrid Schedule (Tuesday-Thursday). The salary range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licenses and certifications; and other related skillsets. The disclosed range is an estimate and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
