Job Overview Call Center Representative (Hybrid):
Our client is seeking a Call Center Representative in Albany, NY, to handle customer inquiries, resolve support tickets, and provide exceptional service, particularly for individuals with disabilities. This hybrid role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and one year of call center customer service experience for smooth customer interactions.
Compensation: $22/hour
Location: Albany, NY
Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 5 shifts per week (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Call Center Representative:
- Customer Interaction: Handle inbound and outbound calls, addressing inquiries and following up on previous contacts in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ticket Management: Resolve support tickets, document all interactions accurately, and maintain records for internal control and audit purposes.
- Communication: Respond to calls, emails, and mail inquiries, ensuring responses are timely, courteous, and compliant with program guidelines.
- Program Expertise: Acquire a comprehensive understanding of program rules and operational platforms to provide informed customer support.
- Administrative: Perform additional administrative tasks as required, such as routing mail and emails, and completing assigned support duties.
Qualifications for the Call Center Representative:
- Education: High school diploma required.
- Experience: 1 year of Call Center Customer Service experience required (Medicaid/Medicare knowledge preferred).
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, troubleshooting, and time management skills required (Bilingual skills preferred).
- Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word, with the ability to handle high call volumes and navigate technology effectively.
- Attributes: Articulate, detail-oriented, and efficient in a fast-paced setting, with proven ability to support individuals with disabilities.
