Job Summary: The Press Line Machine Operator at Alvic USA operates machinery and equipment within the press line production area to manufacture materials according to specified requirements. This role involves monitoring machine operations, conducting quality checks, and ensuring efficient production output while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Operation: Operate press line machinery and equipment to produce materials according to production schedules and quality specifications.
  • Quality Control: Monitor production processes and perform quality checks to ensure products meet defined standards and customer expectations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks on machines, such as cleaning and lubricating, to ensure optimal operation and longevity.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
  • Production Support: Assist in setting up machines, loading materials, and performing minor adjustments as needed to maintain continuous production flow.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, including machine logs, quality inspection reports, and production output data.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certifications in machine operation or manufacturing are beneficial.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Ability to operate and control machinery and equipment efficiently.
    • Attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks.
    • Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting minor issues.
    • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Reporting: The Press Line Machine Operator reports to the Press Line Supervisor.
