Your Role at KIK

We are looking for an experienced Blow Mold Operator to become a vital part of our operations. In this role, you will oversee the effective functioning, troubleshooting, and upkeep of blow molding machinery. Your main objective will be to guarantee the production of top-notch containers while adhering to established safety and quality protocols. Compensation for this position varies based on your experience, with a range of $18.00 – 21.00 per hour, plus a .50 shift differential and an annual incentive bonus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and troubleshoot blow molding machines efficiently.
  • Transition machinery from a cold state to full production, ensuring containers meet quality benchmarks.
  • Access and interpret PLC programming data, making necessary adjustments.
  • Uphold quality assurance standards throughout the production process.
  • Conduct daily setups and size changeovers for all equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality checks and machine profile modifications.
  • Document daily production and quality control metrics for assigned lines.
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Stay informed on process updates and operational procedures through logs and notices.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a facility operating Blow Molders.
  • Familiarity with Uniloy machines is advantageous.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Proficient in using basic hand tools.
  • Ability to follow detailed operational instructions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety practices.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.
  • Comfort working in environments with strong fumes and high noise levels.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
