Your Responsibilities
We are looking for a proficient Blow Mold Operator to become a vital part of our production team. In this role, you will oversee the operation, troubleshooting, and upkeep of blow molding machinery. Your main objective will be to guarantee the production of top-notch containers while strictly adhering to safety and quality protocols. The compensation for this position is competitive, reflecting your experience, with an hourly rate ranging from $18.00 to $21.00, plus a shift differential and an annual performance bonus.
Key Duties Include:
- Operating and troubleshooting blow molding machines efficiently.
- Starting machines from a cold state to full production, ensuring product quality.
- Accessing and adjusting PLC programming as necessary.
- Maintaining strict adherence to quality control standards.
- Conducting daily setups and changeovers for various bottle sizes.
- Performing quality checks and documenting machine profile adjustments.
- Keeping accurate daily production and quality control records.
- Collaborating with production staff to optimize operational efficiency.
- Staying informed on process updates and standard operating procedures.
- Ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
- Complying with all safety regulations and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a blow molding environment.
- Familiarity with Uniloy machines is advantageous.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to safety in the workplace.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Comfort working in environments with strong odors and loud machinery.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
