Senior Human Resources Business Partner for EPIC Brokers will use their outstanding people skills to lead, plan and direct our talent policies, activities, and drive employee engagement and culture where all employees can thrive by developing and supporting programs targeted throughout the employee lifecycle and will ensure that our human resources programs and initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned to overall business objectives and talent strategy. This is a hybrid role that has in office requirements 2-3 days a week to our Alpharetta location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ability to assist regional leaders with retaining and developing talent.

Work directly with HR management to help with regional forecasting of staffing needs.

Provide Regional Finance with cost parameters associated with hiring, training, and retaining top talent.

Works to assist managers with mitigating conflicts.

Drive HR programs across their populations.

Participates in developing department goals and objectives.

Ensures compliance with laws and regulations.

Develops new job descriptions with managers and amends existing job descriptions.

Ability to partner with Centers of Excellence for HR analytics, technology, and career development opportunities for their population.

Proactively lead and drive HR projects and initiatives.

Critically identify areas of opportunity within the business, diagnosis issues and provide strategic solutions to resolve.

Monitors the business and talent using a variety of KPIs and presents relevant data to business leaders.

Administers and provides guidance for the performance evaluation program.

Assures wage administration policies are equitable and appropriate within the guidelines of the corporate budget, marketplace considerations and job analysis.

Provides advice and guidance on employee relations’ issues, progressive discipline, and documentation requirements to HR management.

Ability to manage from start to end an employee relations case while providing guidance in confidential situations and informing HR Management.

Works with leadership to develop and monitor the organization’s culture and help support initiatives.

Promote positive employee relationships through communication and interpretation of HR Policies

Support regional employees by fielding HR questions.

Educate and support management on employee relations and employee performance issues.

Assist in the preparation and documentation of HR related policies.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of human resources

Excellent organizational and analytical skills, decision-making ability, and high level of independence

Demonstrated proficiency in PowerPoint, Project Management, Excel, Smartsheet, and presentation skills.

Exceptional verbal and written communication

Must have M&A experience as it relates to integration of HR functions.

Knowledge of all federal, state, and local employment laws and fair employment practices

Solid interviewing and assessment ability

Strong ability to multi-task and assign priorities.

Ability to work effectively and efficiently both with and without direct supervision.

Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment on a local and remote level.

Must be able to work in a demanding environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands.

Must be able to travel by plane to visit office locations.

Must have a high level of people skills to manage sensitive and confidential situations.

Position requires teamwork with regional business leaders and HR colleagues.

Strong work ethic, encouraging excellence and enthusiasm among staff.

Dedicated to the HR field and strong commitment to achieving results.

EDUCATION AND/OR PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

HR Management, Business or related discipline preferred; bachelor’s degree required. Masters Degree preferred.

SHRM- SCP, SPHR and other HR related professional certifications preferred.

Minimum 7+ years working and developing within a Human Resource environment with progressive advancement in career.

Experience developing and managing Human Resource functions.

Workforce development, culture alignment and integration experience

Excellent employee issue resolution skills and conflict management skills desired

Ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships with senior leaders from all functional backgrounds.

The national average salary for this role is $90,000 to $100,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
