The Senior Tax Analyst for Beckman Coulter is responsible for the effective management of the Property Tax Returns for over 38 US states and processing customer billbacks. You will be a key member in driving Cash flow goals provided to the Tax team.

As a member of the Beckman Coulter Diagnostics Tax Team, you will report to the Manager of Tax. If you thrive in a fast-paced role, have the ability to manage competing priorities, and are highly motivated — read on.

Responsibilities include:

  • Active partner for all Business Tangible Personal Property Tax Compliance and collaborating with internal stakeholders and tax jurisdictions to resolve issues on time and with accuracy. Including but not limited to the following:
  • Asset data management
  • Manage, file, and comply with PPT audits and returns to various states and counties.
  • File assessment appeals if required.
  • Perform monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals to complete analyses.
  • Research County and State laws and regulations to reduce tax assessments.
  • Process Billback property Tax to lease customers.

The essential requirements include:

  • B.S. or B.A. degree in Accounting\Finance\Tax with multiple years of multistate property tax or other tax experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel, and advanced-level PC skills.

The preferred requirements include:

  • Master’s degree in Tax or Accounting
  • CPA

The position is located in Miami, FL and is Hybrid.

The salary range for this role is $75k-$85k annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
