Position Overview

The Senior Tax Analyst will play a crucial role in managing Property Tax Returns across multiple states, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all processes. This position is integral to achieving the financial objectives of the Tax team and will involve collaboration with various internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively engage in Business Tangible Personal Property Tax Compliance, working closely with tax jurisdictions to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Oversee asset data management and ensure timely filing of PPT audits and returns.
  • Conduct assessment appeals as necessary and perform monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Research relevant County and State laws to identify opportunities for tax assessment reductions.
  • Manage the processing of Billback property tax for lease customers.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax with substantial experience in multistate property tax or related fields.
  • Proficient in Excel and possess advanced PC skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Tax or Accounting.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
