Locations
We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Patient Services Representative to support our teams onsite Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. This position will consist of rotating coverage at the following 2 locations:
OB/GYN & Infertility practice located at 15 Old Rollinsford Road, Suite 102, Dover, NH 03820.
Center for Women's Health and Wellness located at 67 Corporate Drive, Portsmouth, NH 03801
The rotating schedule will likely consist of 3 weekdays in one office, and 2 days in the other office.
These practices offer comprehensive, personalized care for all stages of a woman's life in an atmosphere of privacy and trust. Our team of expert providers and specialists at OB/GYN and Infertility take a thoughtful approach to provide high-quality compassionate care in the areas of Obstetrics, Gynecology, Urogynecology, Infertility and LGBTQ+ care. In the Center for Women's Health and Wellness located in the state-of-the-art building on the Pease campus, this dynamic team brings together expert OB/GYN physicians and midwives, along with nurse navigators to help women manage all aspects of their care.

Role Overview
Our Patient Service Representatives play an integral part in the operations of our community-based physician practices. Dedicated to administrative support, these Representatives serve as the gatekeepers of our practices and ensure that teams are delivering the highest quality experience that exceeds our patients' expectations.
We are looking for well-rounded customer service professionals who can multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a high-volume outpatient setting
Leading up to the patient visit, Patient Service Representatives schedule all appointments.
During the patient's visit, the focus is check-in, which includes greeting patients, answering all of their questions, collecting co-payments, and assisting with any pre-visit paperwork/forms.
At the conclusion of the visit, during check-out, Patient Service Representatives are tasked with the completion of forms and scheduling follow-up appointments, tests, and/or procedures.
Other duties include fielding all incoming telephone calls and directing them appropriately, performing referral/diagnostic/lab orders processing duties, monitoring patient flow and waiting room activity, and providing general support to practice leadership, clinicians, and peers.
We do our best to keep all employees in their assigned practices and locations; however, you may also be asked to float to other departments in the WHP system when appropriate and needed during times of staffing shortages/other extenuating circumstances for cross-coverage purposes and to ensure adequate coverage and support.

High School Diploma or equivalent required
2-4 years’ experience in healthcare, hospitality, customer service, preferably in a medical office setting.
