POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Director of Managed Care/Reimbursement, the Contract Coordinator is responsible for organizing, monitoring, and filing the hospital's managed care contracts in a systematic and complete manner. The Contract Coordinator is also responsible for calculating estimated contractual allowances and for maintaining assigned logging systems. Must be able to perform jobs in all patient care and operational areas subject to reasonable accommodations, also be able to employ all mandatory safety devices and procedures. This is a non-union position. Pay Scale: $19.54-$24.35/hourly.
Requirements:
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High school graduate having successfully completed at least two sequential college level accounting courses.
Experience:
Minimum of one year of hands-on comprehensive involvement in managed care contract administration.
Must have computer skills and have experience with spreadsheet and word processing programs.
Must have exceptional organizational skills and the aptitude to analyze and interpret contractual agreements.
Must be able to type and use a 10-key calculator efficiently and effectively.
