Neurosurgery: Vice-Chair, Department of Neurosurgery

The Department of Neurosurgery in the Neurological Institute at the Cleveland Clinic is seeking a full time, neurosurgeon to lead a team of multi-disciplinary providers at our regional neurosurgical practices in Northeast Ohio.The Vice-Chair will report directly to the Chair focusing on regional neurosurgical growth and program excellence using a patient-focused, disease-specific approach to neurological care. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated clinical excellence, experience in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams as well as quality/continuous improvement work. Innovative and collaborative leadership approach is preferred. The primary practice location will be at the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute at Hillcrest Hospital.This position will benefit from our unique, fully integrated care model that allows us to measure quality and outcomes on a continual basis, which enhances our ability to conduct research and benefit future patients. Cleveland Clinic's neurology and neurosurgery program, ranked by U.S. News & World Report, in the top 10 in the nation for 25 consecutive years and best in Ohio brings that same level of care to the Neurological Institute at Hillcrest Hospital, a Level II Trauma center.The applicant must be a board-certified neurosurgeon who has a practice focus in the areas of spine, trauma, and general neurosurgery. The newly recruited neurosurgeon will participate in general neurosurgery and trauma call. Call is on average 1:6 with primary call covered by experienced Advanced Practice Providers and resident team. Additional responsibilities will include clinical care, teaching, and research activities.
