Floater Position: Evening shift from 5pm - 9pm,

As a floater your role is to fill vacancies or cover leaves of absence. Floaters are responsible for performing basic cleaning tasks, such as:

Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas; Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; Dust and polish furniture and fixtures; Clean and sanitize restrooms; Empty trash and recycling bins; Restock supplies as needed...

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including, common areas, and restrooms.
  • Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste in accordance with guidelines.
  • Restocking supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap as needed.
  • Conducting periodic deep cleaning tasks to ensure facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and supervisors to prioritize tasks and address any maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Commitment to upholding cleanliness and safety standards in a university environment.

*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must Be Able To Lift 10+ pounds Regularly Every Day, Bend, Stretch, Climb Stairs, Climb A Ladder, Reach, Twist, Sit, Walk, and squat. Must Be Comfortable Working On Feet For Entire Shift.

MUST Have A Reliable Transportation To Location.
