Floater Position: Evening shift from 5pm - 9pm,
As a floater your role is to fill vacancies or cover leaves of absence. Floaters are responsible for performing basic cleaning tasks, such as:
Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas; Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; Dust and polish furniture and fixtures; Clean and sanitize restrooms; Empty trash and recycling bins; Restock supplies as needed...
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including, common areas, and restrooms.
- Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste in accordance with guidelines.
- Restocking supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap as needed.
- Conducting periodic deep cleaning tasks to ensure facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
- Collaborating with colleagues and supervisors to prioritize tasks and address any maintenance issues promptly.
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Commitment to upholding cleanliness and safety standards in a university environment.
- $15 per hour with opportunities for advancement. A supportive and inclusive work environment where your contributions are valued and recognized.
