Broomall, PA: Middle or High School Speech-Language Pathologist

Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists who enjoy working with secondary-aged students Soliant has partnered with a school district in the area of Broomall, PA, and is seeking candidates to cover either a Middle or High School caseload.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Pennsylvania SLP license
  • Education certificate (from the Pennsylvania Department of Education) is highly recommended

Caseload information:

  • Applicants will be assigned a caseload of either Middle (6th to 8th) or High School (9th to 12th) students
  • Caseload include both Speech-only students, and students with ASD or who are needing life skills support.

As a schools-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:

  • Evaluate new referrals on their communication abilities and determine student eligibility for speech services
  • Develop Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals, and make recommendations for speech services
  • Re-evaluate students on a periodic basis, and updating IEP goals if needed
  • Conductmeetings and completereports as part of the referral or dismissal process for speech students
  • Documentservices service logs, treatment notes, and track student progress with a mix of observations or testing data
