Position: HRIS Analyst

Location: Birmingham, AL

Pay: 72-85k

On-Site 4 days a week, 1 remote

Job Summary

This role assists with establishing data quality controls and testing of system changes. This position provides support for HR system users and coordination of data submissions, such as metric survey participation.

This role creates ad hoc reports for analysis and reporting as needed for HR and management. This position will process new hire workflow actions in our HR Infor system and is responsible for auditing Human Resources data.

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required to work on independent projects as assigned.

Reports to Director of HRIS.

Education

Bachelors degree with 3 years or associate degree with 5 years of HRIS experience; preference for a bachelor with a field of study in Business/Human Resources, MIS, Computer Science or similar field with an emphasis in mathematical or statistical training.

Experience

  • Three (3) years of experience working with ERP HR, Benefit or Payroll Systems is required.
  • Must have excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced computer skills required, including all Microsoft Office applications, Infor Lawson GHR Human Resources information systems, database query tools and self-service applications.
  • Demonstrates proficient knowledge of SQL, data reporting and analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet deadlines, with minimal oversight.
  • Effective communication and writing skills, including the ability to translate complex systems/technical issues into layperson terms.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex data sets in tools such as Access and Excel Power Query.
  • Must have a strong understanding of HR processes, data, policies, and procedures.
  • Healthcare industry exposure a 'nice-to-have'.

Licensures/Certifications

HR certifications such as Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Sr Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Society for HR Management (SHRM) or other HR professional certification preferred but not required.
