The Employee Relations Program Manager consults and serves as a key advisor with HRBPs. This role involves implementing policies, programs, and procedures related to employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive work environment. The Employee Relations Program Manager acts as a liaison between employees and management, addressing employee concerns, and facilitating conflict resolution. This individual will coordinate and manage the central appeals process through a JHHS employee appeals committee. They will be responsible for conducting investigations of compliance complaints, and non-Title VII employee relations concerns. They will be accountable for ensuring efficient and timely internal conflict resolutions. Education : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred. Experience:

Minimum of seven years of experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations. Policy Development and Implementation: Provide recommendations to update employee relations policies and procedures. Partner with VP-HR, Employee Policy Committee, and Legal to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. Review and update policies regularly to reflect changes in legislation and best practices. Conflict Resolution: Provide guidance and support to managers and teams on handling employee relations issues. Address and resolve employee concerns, disputes, and conflicts. Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and workplace issues. Employee Engagement and Communication: Communicate company policies, procedures, and changes to employees effectively. Training and Development: Facilitate training programs on employee relations topics for HRBP’s, managers, and employees. Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed. Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems. Provide support to HRBP’s, managers in conducting performance reviews and addressing performance issues. Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze employee relations data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on employee relations metrics. Use data insights to recommend and implement changes to policies and practices. Legal Compliance: Ensure that the organization’s employee relations practices comply with all applicable labor laws and regulations as review through the Employee Appeals Process. Stay updated on changes in labor legislation and advise management accordingly. Represent the company in labor disputes and legal proceedings as needed, as a result of the Employee Appeals Process.
