About Watts + Diesel

Located in the MOSH Performance Center at Ballpark Commons, our facility combines sports enhancement training, physical therapy, and proper nutrition for ultimate results. Science-based programs are individually tailored to fit our member’s lifestyle—even if “once an athlete,” we welcome all skill and knowledge levels. Tenants SCW Soccer Club and Prospect Training Academy, along with two professional teams, anchor 77,000 SF of integrated sports training turf within the fieldhouse.

Position Objective

As a Watts + Diesel brand ambassador, the Front Desk Associate will greet and direct members, guests, and staff as they enter the gym. This position will provide assistance to members along with inquiries about gym operations and policies, as well as perform various administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Greeting and Welcoming Members: Create and maintain a welcoming and energetic atmosphere for all members and prospective members. Membership Management: Assist with membership inquiries, sign-ups, renewals, cancellations, and updating member information in the gym's database along with filing away membership agreements. Facility Cleanliness: Vacuum the Watts + Diesel functional area, put gym equipment back in the appropriate spot if left out, put away the Normatec equipment if left out, etc. Customer Service: Address member inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and helpful manner. Facility Orientation: Provide new members with tours of the gym, explaining various equipment, amenities, and services available. Scheduling and Appointment Management: Assist trainers with the personal session schedules along with the class schedule; check in members when they arrive for their appropriate session or class. Cash Handling and Point-of-Sale: Process member payments through EZFacility, sell W+D merchandise, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures following the gym's policies. Access Control: Monitor member access to the gym by checking memberships (using the W+D branded app to scan in members). Safety and Security: Maintain a vigilant presence at the front desk, observing any unusual activities or behaviors, and promptly reporting any concerns to senior staff members on duty. Administrative Tasks: Perform general office duties, such as answering phone calls, filing paperwork, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area. Information and Promotion: Stay updated on gym programs, classes, and events to provide accurate information and actively promote gym services and offerings to members. Member Retention: Foster positive relationships with members, striving to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere that encourages member retention and referrals. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age. Current CPR Certification is plus. Enthusiastic, energetic, personable and friendly disposition. Passion for health and wellness. Team player. Excellent verbal, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
