Responsibilities:

Surface Maintenance and Engineering Planning Program (SURFMEPP) provides centralized surface ship life cycle maintenance engineering, and class maintenance planning and management. SURFMEPPs primary mission is to maintain and modernize in-service ships throughout the ships expected service life focusing on a complete, well-engineered, and continuously improving Class Maintenance Plan (CMP).

The NMCI Specialist supports daily operational requirements of computer and network systems. Duties typically involve the installation of hardware and software upgrades, creating network accounts, and resolving more complex IT issues.

This work includes additional responsibilities such as (but not limited to):

  • Trains staff on software applicable to their positions.
  • Assists customers with information technology.
  • Monitors system configuration (hardware and software) and provides instruction on computers and applications.
  • Supports the Tech Refresh process, developing and placing orders and coordinating with CIO, DCTR, and ACTRs.
  • Monitors NMCI performance and service levels.
  • Provides support for use of SURFMEPP conference rooms and IT equipment including troubleshooting.
  • Supports new employees in ensuring all equipment is assigned and functional.
  • Works to ensure compliance with all IA requirements.


Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in a related filed. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors.
4 - 7 years of relevant professional experience
DOD SECRET Security Clearance
NMCI Enterprise Tool (NET) operations.
Database Management Systems

Desired Qualifications:

Use of MS Office Suite tools
Superior written and verbal communication skills to interact with Senior U.S. Navy personnel
NMCI Active Directory usage.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis total compensation package for employees.

Posted Salary Range:
USD $55,440.00 - USD $97,020.00 /Yr.
