Responsibilities

Surface Maintenance and Engineering Planning Program (SURFMEPP) was established to provide centralized surface ship life cycle maintenance engineering, and class maintenance planning and management. SURFMEPP's primary mission is to maintain and modernize in-service ships throughout the ship's expected service life focusing on a complete, well-engineered, and continuously improving Class Maintenance Plan (CMP).

Under the guidance of senior SURFMEPP personnel, Corrosion Planning Specialists actively manage and track surface ship class corrosion plans during CNO Availability advanced planning and planning processes. The Specialists use standard operating procedures, best practices, and growing expertise to assist Maintenance Teams with identifying and tracking Mandatory Technical Requirements (MTRs) and related services during CNO Availability planning and execution. Junior Corrosion Planners interact with SURFMEPP's Corrosion Subject Matter Experts and maintenance community stakeholders to address questions and issues during CNO Availability planning.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must have the following minimum skills and knowledge:

* Bachelors degree in a related filed. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors.• 1 to 4 years of relevant professional experience• DOD SECRET Security Clearance• Performing data analysis across multiple sources.

Desired Qualifications

* Use of MS Office Suite tools• Proficiency with written and verbal communication skills • Maintaining accuracy and integrity of Corrosion databases (CCIMS)• Understanding of Technical Requirements of Corrosion and Structure (CCAMM / NSTM100)• Demonstrated maintenance experience with U.S. Navy surface ship classes.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis' total compensation package for employees.

Posted Salary Range

USD $45,810.00 - USD $80,190.00 /Yr.
