Position Summary:A licensed plumbing service repair and maintenance company based in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a motivated and organized Service Coordinator. This role involves supporting the service department's logistics and coordination to ensure efficient completion of service tasks.Key Responsibilities:Work Order Management: Receive, prioritize, and dispatch work orders to service teams.Supply Coordination: Order and manage supplies needed for service tasks.Communication: Collaborate with the service supervisor and dispatcher to ensure clear communication and efficient workflow.Team Coordination: Work with the service supervisor, service dispatcher, and service teams to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.Customer Interaction: Maintain contact with customers to confirm appointments and follow up on completed service calls.Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks and take ownership of additional responsibilities during slow periods.Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience; plumbing experience is a plus.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office; QuickBooks experience is preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Team player with a proactive attitude and strong problem-solving abilities.Desire for long-term career growth within the company.Working Hours:Monday to Friday, 7:50 AM to 5:00-6:00 PM, with occasional extended hours during peak winter season.Benefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.Opportunities for career advancement into managerial roles.Supportive and collaborative work environmentThis position offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within the company and take on a managerial role in the future.
