Responsibilities:
  1. Customer Service Extraordinaire: Embrace our culture of exceptional customer service, greeting each customer with warmth and enthusiasm. Proactively assist them throughout their shopping journey, ensuring their needs are met and problems are resolved. Your friendly and outgoing demeanor will leave a lasting impression on every customer.
  2. Product Knowledge and Expertise: Leverage your DIY expertise to guide customers in selecting the right products for their projects. Your familiarity with our product range and store layout will empower customers to make informed decisions and tackle their projects with confidence.
  3. Sales and Merchandising: Actively engage in upselling and cross-selling opportunities to meet sales targets. Ensure the sales floor is well-organized, clean, and visually appealing to create a delightful shopping experience for customers.
  4. Cross-Training: Develop a versatile skill set by being cross-trained on both the sales floor and cash register. This dual expertise ensures smooth operations and excellent customer service, enhancing your overall contribution to the team.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow Sales Associates and other team members to create a positive and supportive work environment. Share insights, best practices, and product knowledge to enhance the team's overall performance.
  6. Store Operations Support: Assist in various store operations, including inventory management, restocking shelves, and processing transactions. Contribute to maintaining accurate inventory levels and protecting our physical assets.

  • Physical Stamina: Standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and occasionally climbing ladders are all part of the job.
