Requirements include:
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering from ABET accredited university. Master's preferred.
5+ years of progressive experience in design, drafting, consultation, and/or investigation of buildings and/or grounds.
Applicants shall be proficient in the following computer programs: RISA/Enercalc or similar structural analysis program, AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, and PDF editing.
Professional Licensure (PE, SE, or RA) in Colorado and/or other states required.
Must have knowledge of current building codes and construction standards.
Must demonstrate excellent people skills, customer service, written and oral communication, and time management skills.
Must be able to climb ladders, maneuver pitched roofs, access confined areas, and lift 40 lbs.
Candidate must be based in the Colorado Springs, CO area or be willing to relocate. In-state travel required with occasional out of state site visits.
