Integrated Logistics System Trainer

This position requires an active Public Trust clearance.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Integrated Logistics System (ILS) Trainer. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs to support the implementation and utilization of our ILS software within the Coast Guard organization and among our clients. The ILS Trainer will play a crucial role in ensuring that users are proficient in utilizing the system to optimize logistics operations and enhance overall efficiency.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Integrated Logistics System Trainer: $75,000 to $80,000.

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Integrated Logistics System Trainer Responsibilities Include:
  • Develop comprehensive training materials, including manuals, presentations, and interactive modules, tailored to different user roles and proficiency levels.
  • Conduct on-site and virtual training sessions for employees and clients on various aspects of the ILS software, including system navigation, data entry, reporting functionalities, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, project managers, and subject matter experts, to stay updated on system enhancements and new features, and incorporate these updates into training materials.
  • Customize training programs to meet specific client requirements and address unique logistical challenges.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, feedback sessions, and performance evaluations, and continuously improve training programs based on feedback and evolving business needs.
  • Provide ongoing support to users post-training, including answering questions, resolving issues, and offering additional training sessions as needed.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and advancements in logistics technology to ensure that training programs remain current and relevant.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Integrated Logistics System Trainer Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in training services or a related field, preferably in a government or contracting environment.
  • Strong understanding of ILS processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Contractor personnel performing these level services will be regularly located at CG location in Baltimore, MD, and may require travel to other CG locations, i.e., Norfolk, VA, and Alameda, CA to preform training. The Contractor shall be present for all scheduled formal training in the regular location.
  • May be required to work more than 40 hours to meet production requirements.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
